Hardwood Ply edge grain strips to frame your IKEA METOD cabinets!

These clever little strips take your IKEA Hack to a whole new level.
Install the hardwood ply strips between each cabinet as you go, so that you have a visible edge piece dividing up your cabinets that can be seen when the doors and drawers are shut. They can be installed flush with the faces of your doors and drawers, or pulled forward to create a deep-set frame look.
We offer different length fill strips for you to cut to the right length for your cabinets. If your exact length isn't there just by the longest option and cut it down for a perfect fit. While power tools will give you the best clean and straight cut, you can also carefully use a hand held timber saw and clean up the edge with some sand paper.
All our fills come with a packer in the same material, so that you can be sure your cabinets will stay square and straight with no pinching!
Our Blackbutt plywood fill strips are lovingly hand finished with premium food safe hard wax oil in a matt sheen. This finish soaks into the timber to protect and seal it and can be rejuvenated after many years of high use.

Constructed from from solid layers of Blackbutt laid into 18mm thick plywood, this material is 100% Australian made and has a 'face grade' finish on both the front and back of the door. The faces and visible plywood layers are all sanded and sealed with natural wood wax.
These fill strips are finished on all faces and edges to give you flexibility when installing.
The layers in the plywood are facing out so that is what you see between your cabinets.
