1. What Is The Poppi Bench Seat Made Out Of?
The Poppi bench seat, made in Australia by So Watt, is made from high grade Australian Hoop Pine Plywood timber with an inner panel made with OSB (Oriented Strand Board). The small bench seat size is based on an economical use of the material, so that we are not creating timber waste from the sheet of Plywood. Once the Poppi bench seat is cut, it is lovingly hand sanded and finished with low VOC water-based spray in a huge range of colours.
2. What Makes The Poppi Bench Seat Durable?
The bench seat is mitred and joined with Lamello biscuits for 50kg weight loading on each joint (200kg in total!) There are no visible fixings creating a strong and refined design. The inner OSB panel is sitting in a groove and set half way back in the Plywood bench seat to mimic the strength of a construction beam.

Functioning perfectly as a small bench seat or bench chair and ottoman bench, making it perfect for living rooms, bedrooms, waiting rooms and entrance foyers. Poppi is also a great hall stand or shoe bench in your corridor at home or a simple small TV stand with space for a sound bar inside and cables at the back. Custom sizes are also available!
