Veneer on Ply Door with Hole Handle

Designed + Made to order by So Watt in Marrickville, Sydney, from American oak veneer on ply.

Three oak veneer tones, Clear, Honey and Tobacco. The grain stays present, the surface stays calm, and the finish holds its own without dominating the space.

Each panel features American Oak crown cut veneer pressed onto durable birch ply, letting the grain and tonal variation be the highlight.

The round hole handle is cut directly into the panel, revealing the contrasting layers of the ply core. The exposed edge adds subtle visual interest while keeping the design simple and functional with no additional hardware needed.

Our oak doors are sealed in a durable, low VOC water-based finish in a matt sheen. This coating protects the surface while preserving the natural look and feel of the timber.

• Constructed from solid layers of birch ply with an oak veneer finish, 18mm thick plywood. The faces and visible plywood layers are all sanded smooth.
