DESCRIPTION
Crafted Hardwood is a sustainable timber made from pulp-grade resources. Its innovative production method not only conserves mature trees but also repurposes otherwise wasted materials. It is created by rotary peeling low-value, reject or juvenile logs those usually destined for woodchips and pressing the veneers together using a VOC-free nano-glue, to form solid timber with properties that rival centenary trees. The end product is healthy, safe, recyclable and designed for a circular economy.
Crafted Hardwood is exclusively made in Australia from Australian and imported timbers.
APPEARANCE
Crafted Hardwood has a beautiful linear form created by all the veneers running in parallel lines. Unlike ply however, the veneers bend and curve mirroring the organic form of natural timber, making each piece unique.
AVAILABLE FINISHES
We have selected the Blackbutt option from Crafted Hardwoods to create our Bronco furniture range. This is finished in a low VOC hardwax oil.
